Currently, there are 19 schools that participate in the Kid Witness News program in Canada. We are currently seeking schools in Newfoundland, Prince Edward Island and British Columbia. Due to its popularity and numerous applicants, we cannot guarantee the number of openings in a given year.

If your school would like to be considered for the KWN program, please submit an official letter from your school's principal or superintendent with the following information:

1. School background and demographics 
2. State your school’s interest in the program
3. How the program would be utilized in your school
4. Indicate the teacher who would be assigned as the coordinator of the program
5. Provide school’s website address, if applicable
