*1 Depends on memory card size, battery power, picture size, and compression.
*2 Based on CIPA standard. Using the Panasonic SD memory card and supplied batteries. The CIPA (Camera & Imaging Productions Association) creates standards for measuring battery life. CIPA measurement method: switch on the power and LCD, begin shooting in 30 seconds, switch between telephoto and wide-angle every 30 seconds, fire the flash every other shot. After each series of 10 shots, turn the camera off until the battery cools. Ambient conditions: 23°C temperature and 50% humidity. The battery life differs depending on the condition of storage or use, and the environment. The number of recordable pictures varies depending on the recording interval time. If the recording interval time becomes longer, the number of recordable pictures decreases.
